Week 14 of the 2022-23 NCAA men’s basketball season is in full swing on Saturday, February 11 as the Penn State Nittany Lions travel to take on the Maryland Terrapins in this Big Ten clash at the Xfinity Center in College Park, Maryland.
These teams have not met since last season when the Terrapins defeated the Nittany Lions, 67-61. Marilyn was favored by 2.5 points in that contest with the total set at 128.5.
The Penn State Nittany Lions (14-10, 12-11-1 ATS) dropped their third straight contest when they fell to Wisconsin in overtime on Wednesday, 79-74. The loss was the fifth in the last seven games for the Lions, who suddenly find themselves in a precarious situation if they intend to make the NCAA Tournament. Penn State is 1-6 on the road and has lost their last three games against the spread.
Wisconsin enjoyed a great day shooting, hitting 52.8% of their shots, including going 3-4 in overtime to earn the victory. However, the team missed six shots in the overtime session, including all five three-point attempts. Jalen Pickett (17 points, e ight rebounds) combined with Seth Lundy (14 points, nine rebounds) to put together a formidable performance, but it was not enough.
