The Penn State Nittany Lions and Clemson Tigers face off on Tuesday in a college basketball showdown at Littlejohn Coliseum. This is the first meeting played between the two teams in recent years.
Penn State comes into this game with a 6-1 record overall and they have gone 5-1-1 against the spread. In the last game against California, Clemson scored 67 points, and that led to the eight-point victory. Two games ago against Iowa, Clemson was competitive but ended up losing 74-71. Clemson is averaging 72.1 points while their defense is giving up 62.7 points per game. Guard Chase Hunter has been the top player for Clemson averaging 16.6 points while shooting 51.2 percent from the field and 60 percent from behind the three point line.
