With Draymond Green's return still at least a few days away, Stephen Curry will continue to shoulder much of the burden on both ends of the floor for Golden State. Can New Orleans contain Curry's brilliance to prevail as a short road favorite?

Curry, who has never been known for his defense, has been attacked even more on that end of the floor lately. While that's been leading to more buckets, it also forces Curry to be even more active defensively. Curry has recorded 11 steals over 13 games since Green started serving his current suspension.
The veteran is averaging 0.8 steals per contest while clearing this mark in 56% of his games in 2023-24. He's recorded at least one steal in five of his last six contests, swiping a total of 10 takeaways during that span. At -150 or b etter, we believe Curry will record at least one steal in a tightly contested matchup.

I'm buying the effort props for Curry in this marquee matchup, particularly a rebounds line that's dropped too low based on his recent form. Curry has only cleared this mark in four of his last 10 games and five times during Green's suspension. But that's exactly why we're getting such a good price here.
FanDuel is charging as much as -150 juice for the same Over after opening with a value of -128. bet365 appears to be late to the party, giving us a solid edge when a site like NumberFire projects 5.3 rebounds for Curry.
Curry is averaging 4.3 rebounds per game so far in 2023, and he's cleared this total in 62% o f his contests thus far. Take advantage of those who are reading too much into Curry's recent form, as we should expect an inspired effort from one of the league's best players in this clash.

Pelicans forward Herbert Jones is more known for his defense, but he's averaging a solid 10.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game so far in 2023-24. However, he's failed to crack double figures in back-to-back games while playing 25-plus minutes in both contests.
We're betting on that streak continuing, especially at a +100 price available through DraftKings. This same Under is being priced as short as -106 at our best sports betting sites. NumberFire is projecting 9.3 points for Jones, who's facing a Warriors team that ranks third in the league at defending small forwards.
Jones has only cleared this mark in 15 of his 34 games thus far, including three of his last 10 outings. He's finished with 11-plus points just once over five career meetings against the Warriors, averaging 6.2 points per game in those head-to-head matchups.
