Patriots vs Broncos prop betting picks: 2 best bets for SNF

Que Carrie Underwood! It’s Sunday Night Football in Colorado between the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos. It’s been a rough season for the Patriots while the Broncos are in the playoff mix, and for this primetime matchup, I’ve found 2 player prop best bets to lock in. Also, make sure to also check out our New England Patriots vs Denver Broncos predictions.

Bailey Zappe (NE) Over 0.5 Interceptions (-150)

This is too good of a price to pass up. Bailey Zappe has taken over the role of Patriots starting quarterback, and while he has avoided the pitchforks from fans thus far, he still hasn't been that great. He's tossed an interception in 4 of his last 5 games and in 2 of the 3 games he's started this year. Interceptions have been a weakness for Zappe in his young career considering he's tossed 4 this season and 3 last year in just 4 games. And while the Patriots would like to keep the ball out of the air and on the ground, that might not be too feasible. Rhamondre Stevenson is questionable for Sunday night and Ezekiel Elliott isn't the best starting running back to have. I'm expecting Zappe to throw a few deep balls against Patrick Surtain II and company, and one way or another, I'm expecting one of his passes to end up in the wrong hands.

Courtland Sutton (DEN) Over 50.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

I'm baffled by this line. His receiving prop line has not been below 50 since Week 12, and even then, he easily surpassed it. But it hasn't been just that week – he's been a big part of Denver's second-half turnaround. Let's take a look at his receiving yards in the last 6 weeks: 71, 62, 77, 61, 63, and 53 yards. Before that, Sutton was still putting up impressive numbers. Denver's star receiver has at least 51 yards in 9 of the 14 games this season. He's been a reliable option for Russell Wilson, and Sutton is also bound to get a few deep balls throughout the game too. If Wilson can connect with Sutton on just one of those deep balls, he should be able to get halfway to this line from one play. And since Sutton gets around 4 to 5 catches per game, I like his chances of making it 7 straight games with at least 51 yards.
