SGP predictions for Packers vs. Giants
The Packers have turned heads with the resurgence of QB Jordan Love as Green Bay has exceeded its season scoring average in three straight games, coming away with w ins in each of them. Our best sports betting apps are buying into the turnaround, listing the Packers as 6-point road favorites on Monday night.
But the Giants have found a way to make games ugly of late, winning a couple in a row as they've rallied around solid defensive play. For as bad as the Giants have been overall, we've seen this team rebound from its opening embarrassment against the Cowboys to earn a passable 2-2-1 ATS record at home this season.
With the betting public riding with the Packers at a pretty notable split, we could see this game playing out similarly to New York's Week 6 loss to the Buffalo Bills (14-9 final score) as Green Bay comes back down to earth offensively.

The Packers have been more efficient on offense in recent weeks, meaning most of their games have cleared a meager 37-point game total. But Green Bay has tripped up offensively at times throughout the season and has seen five games fall short of this number on the campaign.
The Giants are no strangers to low-scoring affairs, as their games have gone 3-9 on Overs on the year. In particular, the Giants have been a boon for those riding with the Under in their home games as the Over is 0-5 this season when New York serves as the home team.
Although this sub-40 total is an effort to challenge those trends, there is enough sharp money moving this market to believe that we could be in store for another clunker. Six Giants games have fallen short of this total on the year. Both DraftKings and FanDuel list the line at 37 points.
Although the Packers have allowed the second-most rushing yards per game in the NFL this season, Saquon Barkley hasn't been a consistent force in this New York backfield. The pub lic seems to be buying Barkley's total as the line has shot up multiple yards throughout the day on Monday.
We view that as a chance to fade Barkley on a rushing line that he's failed to reach four times out of nine games played. Saquon averages 4.2 yards per carry, a YPC that would require him to draw about 17 rushing attempts to clear this rushing line. That's a carry count that Barkley hasn't hit since October.
To project a cover by the Giants while fading the rushing total of their lead running back is a contrarian play that does not go unappreciated at DraftKings.
With the inclusion of this final leg of the SGP, DraftKings boosts the overall parlay odds to +600. At FanDuel, we're getting just +561 odds. Given that the Barkley rushing total is more favorable at DraftKings, it's clearly the better option for this SGP.
