Pacific Tigers (10-10) vs. San Francisco Dons (12-9)

The 2022-23 college basketball season goes on Thursday, January 19, with the West Coast Conference showdown from War Memorial at the Sobrato Center in San Francisco, California, where the Pacific Tigers square off against the San Francisco Dons.  

The tip-off is set for 11:00 PM ET, and San Francisco aims for its second straight victory over Pacific. The Dons open as 10-point home favorites, while the totals sit at 152.5 points.   

The Pacific Tigers (10-10; 8-10 ATS; 3-2 conf.) put an end to their three-game winning streak this past Saturday. After beating Loyola Marymount 78-72 at home and San Diego 84-82 and Pepperdine 80-75 on the road, the Tigers suffered a 92-81 home loss against Santa Clara. Pacific yielded 51 first-half points to the Broncos, who controlled the game in the second half and didn’t give the Tigers a chance to mount a comeback. 

The Tigers shot 43.5% from the field (10-for-24 from deep) against Santa Clara. They posted a 14/10 assist-to-turnover ratio, but the Tigers also allowed 15 offensive rebounds and struggled to cope with the Broncos in the paint. Junior guard Judson Martindale led Pacific with 17 points, three rebounds, and a couple of blocks, while senior guard K eylan Boone had 13 points and five boards. 

Pacific is No. 224 in both NCAA NET Rankings and KenPom rankings. The Tigers score 104.5 points per 100 possessions (154th in the nation) and allow 108.2 points in return (273rd). They lean on 3-point shooting a lot, making 8.9 triples per contest (50th) on a 38.8 percentage clip (18th).
