Pacific at St. Mary's – 2/23/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Pacific Tigers will make the one-hour trip to Moraga to meet the Saint Mary’s Gaels in conference play from UCU Pavilion on the WCC. Saint Mary’s leads the all-time series, 39-32, after winning 15 of the last 16 meetings.

Pacific fell to 13-16 after losing to LMU in Los Angeles. The Tigers put up another strong road effort in conference play, but even after leading at the break, they’d slip up and lose to the Lions by two, 90-88. Pacific is scoring 76.6 points per game, while allowing 77.7 ppg, and shooting 45.4% from the floor.

Pacific has dropped four of their last five games despite playing some competitive basketball, and they will face an uphill battle here with the conference leaders. The Tigers are 6-8 WCC play, with a 7-6 road record. Junior swingman Keylan Boone has scored 15 points or more in seven of the last eight games, and he leads Pacific in scoring (14.0) and rebounding (4.1).  Sophomore guard Jordan Ivy-Curry scored 25 points in the win over USD last week, and he’s up to 10.3 ppg.
