Pacers at Heat Prediction – NBA Picks 2/8/23

The Indiana Pacers pay a visit to the Miami Heat at the FTX Arena on Wednesday night.

The Indiana Pacers have been in terrible shape as they’ve lost 12 of their last 14 games overall and they will be hoping for a better performance after getting thrashed by the Cavaliers in a 122-103 loss on Sunday. Myles Turner led the team in scoring with 27 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks, Buddy Hield added 16 points while Tyrese Haliburton tallied 15 points with 11 assists. As a team, the Pacers shot just 43 percent from the field and eight of 32 from the 3-point line, but they got nothing from their reserves as no bench player finished in double figures in scoring which is why they could never really threaten after falling behind by double-digits in the second quarter.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost three of their past four games and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after falling short to the Bucks in a 123-115 road loss on Saturday. Jimmy Butler led the team with 32 points, eight rebounds and three assists, Tyler Herro added 24 points with six assists while Bam Adebayo tallied 16 points with 11 rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Heat shot 44 percent from the field and eight of 31 from the 3-point line as they poured in 36 points in the second quarter to erase an early 12-point deficit, only to go cold in the fourth quarter where the Bucks opened with a pivotal 8-0 run to pull away and escape in the end.
