Claude Giroux is producing as well, amassing six points in his last seven games. The veteran winger is in his first season in Ottawa and has been decent, posting 26 points in 29 games. Shane Pinto ended a six-game goalless drought with his 10th marker of the season on Wednesday. The 22-year-old center has the potential to be a 30-goal score r. He has 10 goals and four assists on the season. Tim Stutzke is out of action.

The Senators have been giving a majority of the starts in goal to Cam Talbot. The 35-year-old has been stellar this month and has registered a 2.51 GAA and a .917 save % accompanied by a 7-7 record. Anton Forsberg has a poor 3.24 GAA and a .908 save %. Ottawa is scoring an average of 3.1 goals, landing them 17th in the league. They are conceding an average of 3.2 goals, placing them 19th in the NHL.
