Orlando Magic (26-36) vs. Milwaukee Bucks (43-17)
The 2022-23 NBA season continues on the first day of March with the Orlando Magic taking on the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference showdown at Fiser Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Orlando and Milwaukee continue their three-game regular-season set, and the Bucks aim for their 13th consecutive victory over the Magic. Milwaukee plays on the second night of a back-to-back, so the Bucks’ injury report is unavailable at the moment. On the other side, Orlando listed Jonathan Isaac (knee) as questionable.
The Orlando Magic (26-36; 34-25-3 ATS) have gone 4-4 SU and 3-5 ATS over their previous eight games overall, failing to win two straight contests in the process. They are coming off Monday’s 101-93 road victory against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Rookie Paolo Banchero dropped 29 points on the Pels, including three jumpers in the crunch time. He also had eight rebounds and four assists, while Wendell Carter Jr. double-doubled with 11 points and 11 boards. The Magic allowed just 19 points in the fourth quarter. They shot 45.6% from the field (9-for-34 from deep) and posted an underwhelming 21/17 assist-to-turnover ratio.
“Banchero did a great job of staying aggressive, getting to the free-throw line … getting to his spots, and knocking them down with confidence,” Magic guard Markelle Fultz said. “When he’s playing like that it helps our team go. Everybody’s super excited for him.”
