The Orlando Magic have now reeled off six straight wins after getting two straight wins against the Boston Celtics, owners of the NBA's best record, both in Boston. On Sunday afternoon, the Magic held the league's highest scoring team to just 92 points in a 95-92 win. Rookie Paolo Banchero continued his stellar first-season with 31 points and Admiral Schofield scored 11 of his 13 points in the fourth quarter to help hand Boston its fourth loss in five games. The six-game winning streak is now the longest for Orlando since the 2018-19 season. They are also now 3-11 on the road with the two straight in Boston.

“It means a lot to come out in this environment and get two straight wins against that team, a great team,” Banchero said. “I think it means a lot for our confidence going forward. We know we can compete against anybody. We just have to keep the same level of focus.”

Orlando is shooting 47% from the field during this six-game winning streak and 38% from 3pt range. They are pulling down 47 rebounds per contest. More importantly, after averaging nearly 17 turnovers per game this season, the Magic have reduced that number to 14 per game during the winning streak. Banchero is averaging nearly 23 points per game during the streak with just under 7 rebounds and 5 assists in that time period.
