The Indiana Pacers play host to the Orlando Magic at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday night.
The Orlando Magic have been in a rut as they’ve lost four of their past six games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting thrashed by the Timberwolves in a 126-108 loss on Wednesday. Bol Bol led the team with 26 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks, Jalen Suggs added 23 points with six assists while Franz Wagner chipped in with 18 points, six rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Magic shot 45 percent from the field and nine of 35 from the 3-point line but they got off to a terrible start and never had a chance after getting outscored by 76-49 in the first half.
Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been in great shape as they’ve won seven of their last nine games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after taking down the Rockets in a 99-91 win last night. Tyrese Haliburton led the way with 19 points and eight assists, Myles Turner added 17 points with seven rebounds and four blocks while Jalen Smith tallied 10 points with 18 rebounds, four assists and three blocks. As a team, the Pacers shot just 40 percent from the field and 12 of 41 from the 3-point line as they fell behind big early after scoring just 10 points in the first quarter, but they rallied and held the Rockets to just 41 points in the second half to win comfortably in the end.
