The Oregon Ducks, after a slow start this season, have now won four out of five games and improving the team's overall mark to 8-6 on the season. Oregon comes into this matchup off of an emotional high after beating rival Oregon State 77-68 at home on Saturday. The victory wasn't without some anxious moments after the Ducks coughed up a 14-point lead and trailed 60-57. The Ducks were led by Will Richardson, who scored 22 points in the win. N'Faly Dante chipped in with 17 points and eight rebounds despite being in foul trouble for much of the night. In the end, however, it was Richardson that carried the day as he scored 12 of Oregon's last 20 points in the game.

“There's no doubt he was the difference in the game,” UO coach Dana Altman said. “He just made big play after big play.”

After surviving a series of injuries that led to a 2-4 start for the Ducks, the team has gone 6-2 in their last eight games and looks more and more like a team that could contend for the Pac-12 title and an NCAA Tournament berth. Oregon is now 172nd in the country in scoring offense this season, doing the majority of their damage inside the arc. The Ducks are ranked just 311th in the country in 3pt shooting. Defensively, the Ducks have been sharp thus far this season. Oregon is ranked 65th in scoring defense thus far. They are 146th in 3pt defense as well. Oregon has used their interior strength to earn the 57th rank in rebounding in the country. They will get sloppy with the basketball, ranking 195th in the country in turnovers per game.
