The Oregon State Beavers (3-0 2-1 ATS, 2-1 O/U) meet with the Washington State Cougars (3-0, 2-1 ATS, 2-1 O/U) in a big PAC-12 showdown on Saturday night. The Beavers recorded a home win against San Diego State to remain undefeated. The Cougars also remained unbeaten with a dominating home win against Northern Colorado. Oregon State recorded a 24-10 home win against Washington State last season.
The Oregon State Beavers went undefeated in non-conference play. They covered in the opening bouts against San Jose State and UC Davis of the FCS. Week three was their biggest challenge. They were 24.5-point favorites in a solid 26-29 home win against San Diego State of the MWC. The Beavers are one of the better squads in the stacked PAC-12. They were selected to finish 5th in the preseason media poll. OSU climbed to #14 in the AP Top 25.
DJ Uiagalelei wasn’t as sharp last week. While the junior QB posted 284 passing yards, he only converted on 47% of his passes and posted two interceptions. Uiagalelei was Clemson’s QB last season and has been solid in three games, recording 630 passing yards accompanied by a 6:2 TD to INT ratio.
The Beavers have a potent running game led by Damian Martinez. The sophomore RB has eclipsed 100 rushing yards in all thre e games, accumulating 351 yards on an average of 8.8 yards per rush. Anthony Gould has 156 receiving yards which is notable considering he didn’t play in the second game of the season. The Oregon State offense has posted 475 total yards against SDSU but this Cougars defense will be the best defense they have seen yet.

The Beavers' defense resumed its dominance against SDSU, conceding just 326 total yards. The group has conceded 17 or fewer points in all three games. The pass defense did have a bit of trouble against SDSU, conceding 256 yards in the air. The unit now ranks 51st against the pass and seventh against the run.
Oregon State is averaging a stellar 41 points, marking them 16th. The defense is allowing an average of 11 points, placing them 11th in the country.
