Oregon State Beavers (3-1) vs. Utah Utes (3-1)

The 2022 college football season goes on Saturday, October 1, with Week 5 matchups around the country, including the Pac-12 Conference showdown from Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City where Utah hosts Oregon State.

The Beavers beat the Utes 42-34 as 3-point home dogs in 2021 to stop their five-game losing streak against Utah. Oregon State is a 10.5-point road underdog this time around, while the Utes are listed as -350 moneyline favorites with a total of 54.5 points.

The Oregon State Beavers missed a big chance to stun the No. 7 USC Trojans this past Saturday and put an end to their three-game winning streak. They blew a four-point lead down the stretch, allowing the Trojans to score a touchdown with 1:13 left on the clock in the fourth quarter. Junior QB Chance Nolan had a bad day in the office and finished 17-of-29 for 167 yards and a thumping four interceptions.

“I thought they played with a lot of energy and desire throughout this game,” Oregon State head coach Jonathan Smith said about his team. “Credit those guys in the other locker room to finish the game.”
