Oregon State at Utah – 1/5/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Oregon State Beavers and Utah Utes face off on Thursday in a college basketball showdown at Jon M. Huntsman Center. When these two teams faced off in February it was Utah that secured the 84-59 victory. 

Oregon State comes into this game with a 7-7 record and they have gone 7-6 against the spread. In the last game against Oregon, the defense gave up 77 points, and that led to the nine point defeat. In the last game against Stanford, Utah scored 71 points, and they ended up winning by five points. Two games ago against California, they were able to secure the 58-43 victory. Utah is averaging 73.5 points while their defense is giving up 61 points per game. The defense is ranked 24th in college basketball. Branden Carlson is averaging 15.3 points while shooting 54.9 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from behind the three point line.
