Bowl season'is underway after an exciting 2022 college football campaign. One successful program taking part in the postseason once again is the No. 15 Oregon Ducks, who will'face the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Holiday Bowl on Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Oregon Bowl Game History

Oregon has frequented the college football postseason throughout its history. The Cowboys have played in 35 bowls prior to facing North Carolina.

The Ducks made their first bowl appearance in 1917 as part of the Pacific Coast Conference, back when they were known as the Webfoots. They defeated Penn, 14-0, at the Rose Bowl that year.

Oregon has qualified for a bowl every year since 2000 except in the 2004 and 2016 seasons. Unfortunately, the Ducks are just 2-5 straight up in their last seven bowls games, most recently losing 47-32 to Oklahoma at the 2021 Alamo Bowl.
