Oral Roberts at South Dakota Prediction – Basketball Picks 2/23/23

The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles will head up to Vermillion to face the South Dakota Coyotes in Summit League play from the Coyote Sports Center. ORU tied the head-to-head series at nine after beating South Dakota by a massive fifty points in Tulsa three weeks ago. 

Oral Roberts improved to 25-4 after beating North Dakota State in Tulsa. The Golden Eagles led at the break, and they held on to beat the Bison by eight, 74-66. ORU scores 84.7 points per game, while allowing 70.5 ppg, and shooting 48.7% from the field.

Oral Roberts has a real chance to replicate their Cinderella run next month, and they can close the season strong with a successful stint in the Mount Rushmore State this week. The Golden Eagles are an immaculate 16-0 in Summit League play, with 9-4 a road record. The Golden Eagles have one of the most potent offenses in the country, and they’re led by the best player in school history in Max Abmas. The senior guard has scored 27 points or more in four of the last six games, and he leads the Summit in scoring at 22.8 ppg. Junior guard Issac McBride scored 20 points in the first meeting with USD, and he’s second on the team at 12.4 ppg. Former Cal big Connor Vanover scored an identical 12.4 ppg, while grabbing a team-lead 7.1 rpg.
