Oklahoma heads to West Virginia for a critical Big 12 road game that will leave the loser on the brink of elimination from NCAA Tournament consideration. Oklahoma already has 10 losses on the season and can't afford to fall behind West Virginia in the standings. The Sooners have gone 2-7 in Big 12 play and have lost four out of their last five games with the only win coming against then #2 Alabama last weekend. On Wednesday night, the Sooners fell to arch-rival Oklahoma State by the score of 71-61 at home. Grant Sherfield led Oklahoma with 14 points while Milos Uzan chipped in with 11 points. The Sooners fell behind 10-2 to start the game and never quite regained their footing. Oklahoma shot just 35% from the field for the game.

Oklahoma is ranked 10th in the Big 12 this season in scoring offense. Despite shooting 35% from the floor against Oklahoma State, Oklahoma has the second-best field goal percentage in the conference. Oklahoma is also second in the conference in 3pt field goal percentage. Oklahoma is middle of the pack in turnovers, ranking sixth in Big 12 play. Defensively, the Sooners are ranked third in the Big 12 in scoring defense. They are, however, just eighth in the Big 12 opponent's field goal percentage.
