The Kent State Golden Flashes (0-1) visit the Oklahoma Sooners (1-0) at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
In their most recent game, the Sooners defeated the UTEP Miners 45-13. The Golden Flashes are coming off of a loss to the Washington Huskies by the score of 45-20. In that matchup with the Miners, Dillon Gabriel had 233 yards on 15-of-23 passing (65.2%) for the Sooners, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Marquez Cooper carried the ball 11 times for 36 yards (3.3 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. Dante Cephas caught six passes on seven targets for 105 yards (17.5 yards per reception).
The Sooners are the favorite (-32) in an expected one-sided matchup with the Golden Flashes. The total is set at 69.5 points.
