The Oklahoma State Cowboys will go on the road this week to Manhattan, KS for a conference match up with the Kansas State Wildcats. Oklahoma State comes into Kansas this week with six wins through seven games played following a seven point home win over Texas on Saturday. Defensively Oklahoma State struggled a bit allowing 523 total yards of offense including 319 through the air as Texas scored 34 points but the Cowboys forced three turnovers and allowed only three third down conversions to get the victory.
Quarterback Spencer Sanders completed 34 of 57 passes for 391 yards and two scores and ran the ball 11 times for 43 yards as well. Jaden Nixon led the way on the ground for Oklahoma State with 64 yards on 8 carries and Dominic Richardson added 24 yards and three scores on 13 carries as well. Bryson Green was the primary target in the Oklahoma State passing attack with 133 yards and one touchdown on five receptions.
The Kansas State Wildcats return home this week with a record of 5-2 following a 10 point loss to TCU. Defensively Kansas State struggled immensely as TCU scored 38 total points including 21 in the second half on nearly 500 total yards of offense. Offensively Kansas State did move the ball well accumulating 28 points on 390 total yards of offense, but two turnovers led to the loss.
