Oklahoma State at Kansas – 12/31/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Oklahoma State Cowboys and Kansas Jayhawks face off on Saturday in a college basketball showdown at Allen Fieldhouse. When these two teams faced off in February it was the Jayhawks that secured the 76-62 victory. 

Oklahoma State comes into this game with an 8-4 record and they have gone 6-6 against the spread. In the last game against Texas A&M CC, Oklahoma State put up 81 points and that led to an easy victory. Oklahoma State is averaging 71.7 points while their defense is giving up 61.5 points per game. The defense is ranked 36th in the league and if they want a chance in this game the defense is going to need to have a huge game. Guard Avery Anderson III has been the top player for the Cowboys averaging 12.2 points while shooting 41.1 percent from the field and 23.7 percent from behind the three point line. 

On the other side of this matchup is Kansas who sits with an 11-1 record and they have gone 5-7 against the spread. In the last game against Harvard they were tested, but they were able to secure a 68-54 victory. Jalen Wilson had another big game finishing 21 points, six rebounds and two assists. The Jayhawks are averaging 78.8 points while their defense is giving up 64.3 points per game. Wilson is averaging 21.1 points while shooting 42.2 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from behind the three point line. Gradey Dick is also having a big season averaging 15.4 points while shooting 48.6 percent from the field.
