Eugene Omoruyi was a surprise star in that game, scoring a career-high 22 points on 8 of 10 shooting from the floor—he knocked down 5 of 6 from beyond the arc.

Omoruyi played for the G-League’s Texas Legends last season, averaging 15.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game as a rookie. Oklahoma City had eight players score in double figures for the first time in franchise history, and it also posted its largest margin of victory this season. While that was an extremely balanced effort, it has not been that way for the Thunder in most of their games.
