The new-look Minnesota Timberwolves will host the young Thunder on Wednesday in the season opener for both teams. Minnesota won all four matchups last season, covering the spread in three of the games.
The Oklahoma City Thunder enter the season as the youngest team in the NBA. Last season, the Thunder finished 24-58, which was the fourth-worst record in the NBA. OKC took Chet Holmgren out of Gonzaga with the second pick in the 2022 NBA Draft but he will miss the entire season with a foot injury.

Leading the young roster are Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (24.5 ppg, 5.9 apg, 5.0 RPG), Luguentz Dort (17.2 ppg, 4.2 RPG), and Josh Giddey (12.5 ppg, 7.8 RPG, 6.4 APG). This club is clearly still in the developmental stages with an over/under win total set at 26.5 for the season.
