Oklahoma City Thunder at Miami Heat – 1/10/23 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Oklahoma City Thunder pay a visit to the Miami Heat at the FTX Arena on Tuesday night.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been in decent shape as they’ve won seven of their last 11 games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after routing the Mavericks in a 120-109 home win on Sunday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 33 points with five rebounds and five assists, Luguentz Dort added 18 points while Kenrich Williams chipped in with 14 points and 10 rebounds. As a team, the Thunder shot 48 percent from the field and 12 of 28 from the 3-point line as they ambushed the Mavericks with 36 points in the second quarter to overcome an early 11-point deficit, before they went on a 19-7 run in the fourth quarter to lead by 18 points and put the game to bed early.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last eight games overall, but they will be itching to get back on the court after falling painfully short to the Nets in a 102-101 home loss on Sunday. Jimmy Butler led the team with 26 points on nine of 21 shooting, Tyler Herro added 24 points while Bam Adebayo and Haywood Highsmith each scored 10 points. As a team, the Heat shot just 41 percent from the field and 13 of 35 from the 3-point line as they held the Nets to just 13 points in the third quarter to overcome a nine-point deficit to take the lead late, only to allow the Nets to close the final 4:01 on an 8-4 run to steal the game from them in a tight finish.
