The Ohio Bobcats (4-4, 3-4 ATS, 4-3 O/U) meet with the Youngstown State Penguins (7-3, 6-2 ATS, 7-1 O/U) in non-conference play on Sunday afternoon. The Bobcats dropped a road decision against Marshall in their previous action. The Penguins clobbered Westminster PA on Thursday night.

The Ohio Bobcats are seeking their fifth victory of the season. It’s been an interesting season. They were 1-3 to begin the year including a narrow overtime road loss against Michigan and rebounded by winning three in a row. The three-game winning streak came to an end in an 83-69 road defeat against a good Marshall squad on Wednesday in a bout that had the Bobcats marked as nine-point dogs. The Bobcats have not covered the spread in three straight games.

Dwight Wilson III continues to shine. The senior forward has posted three double-doubles and connected on at least 50% of his field goals in all but one game this season. Wilson III has registered an average of 12.9 PPG accompanied by 10 RPG. Miles Brown has only scored nine points in his last two games. The senior guard is having a stellar year, amassing an average of 11.1 PPG, and is shooting a remarkable 50% from beyond the arc. AJ Clayt on has two double-doubles in his last three bouts. The 6-foot-8 sophomore forward enters with an average of 9.4 PPG and 7.3 RPG.

The Bobcats are ranked 201st in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and are 0-4 on the road including a loss against Detroit. Ohio is potent in the offensive end. They are shooting 46% and have scored at least 70 points in all but three games. Ohio is scoring an average of 77.8 points, good for 93rd.
