MAC play resumes on Tuesday night as the Ohio Bobcats get set to take on the Northern Illinois Huskies. Ohio enters this conference tilt at 12-11 (10-11-1 ATS) while Northern Illinois is currently 10-13 (11-9 ATS). Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00 ET from the NIU Convocation Center in Dekalb, IL.

Ohio secured a conference win when they handled Miami (OH) on Saturday afternoon. The 78-68 victory improved the Bobcats’ conference record to 4-6, snapping a two-game losing streak in the process. From a gambling perspective, the 10-point margin wasn’t enough to clear the -10.5-point spread set by the oddsmakers. This duo of Hunter and Wilson III has been the battery for Ohio this season. Wilson III is scoring 16.0 points per game and also leads the team in rebounds (9.7 RPG). Hunter is averaging 11.5 points per contest and leads the way in assists (4.2 APG) and steals (1.5 SPG). 

According to the KenPom rankings, the Bobcats are the 155th-ranked team in the country, posting an adjusted efficiency margin of +0.75. Their biggest strength has been the offense, which is scoring 110.2 points per 100 possessions (83rd). As for the baseline metrics, Ohio’s scoring 77.9 points per game and shooting 46.0% from the field as a team.
