The Ohio State Buckeyes (10-6, 7-9 ATS, 10-6 O/U) collide with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights  (12-5, 12-5 ATS, 8-9 O/U) in a Big Ten showdown on Sunday afternoon. The Buckeyes were stunned by Minnesota on Thursday night. The Scarlet Knights earned a road win against Northwestern in their previous action. The Buckeyes posted a 67-66 home win against Rutgers last month.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are looking to rebound from a slump. They were 2-0 in Big Ten action and have now surprisingly lost three games in a row. They were hit with losses against Purdue and Maryland and were huge 13-point favorites in a stunning 70-67 home loss against Minnesota on Thursday night to plummet to 2-3 in Big Ten action. The Buckeyes have only covered the spread in one of their five conference games.

Brice Sensebaugh continues to dominate, sinking at least 20 points in two out of his last three performances. The freshman forward scored 13 against Rutgers last month and is averaging 16.8 PPG and 5 RPG. Justice Sueing has scored a total of 34 points in his last two games. The senior forward has consistently produced throughout conference play and has accrued an average of 14.1 PPG and 4.9 RPG. Bruce Thornton collected 10 points in Thursday’s loss. The freshman guard has filed an a verage of 10 PPG. 

The Buckeyes are ranked 18th in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and dropped out of the AP Top 25 last week. Ohio State is 1-2 in their three true road games. The Buckeyes are scoring an average of 78.9 points, marking them 46th. They have squandered 70 or more points in three straight games and are conceding an average of 66.2 points, placing them 99th.
