The Ohio State Buckeyes are on the road as they make the trip to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers Wednesday night. Ohio State comes in off a 68-64 overtime loss at Rutgers in their previous game Sunday afternoon, failing to cover as a three-point underdog. Nebraska was knocked off 73-55 on the road by #3 Purdue in their most recent game Friday night, failing to cover as a 15.5-point underdog. In the all-time series between the teams, the Buckeyes own a 19-4 advantage though it was Nebraska picking up a 78-70 home win in the most recent matchup on March 1, 2022.

Ohio State battled to the end against Rutgers on the road only to fall short in overtime for their fourth straight loss. The Buckeyes dropped to 10-7 overall and stand tied for 10th in the conference with a 2-4 record. Against Rutgers, Ohio State led 15-4 nine minutes into the game only to see their lead trimmed to three at the half. The Buckeyes led by six with 10:45 remaining in regulation but couldn’t sustain their lead to wind up in overtime. In the extra session, Ohio State led 61-60 with 1:50 remaining before giving up eight unanswered points: they didn’t score again until just four seconds remained. The Buckeyes shot 34.3% from the field, including eight of 21 from three-point range, and turned the ball over 13 times in the loss. Brice Sensabaugh led Ohio State with 20 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.
