Ohio Bowl Game History

Ohio has been an infrequent bowl participant, only appearing in two games before 2006. Nevertheless, the program has made 13 bowl appearances prior to facing Wyoming.

The Bobcats made their first bowl appearance in 1962 as part of the Mid-American Conference. They lost to West Texas State, 15-14, at the Sun Bowl that year.

Ohio has qualified for 10 bowls since the 2009 campaign. The Bobcats' last appearance was at the 202 0 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, ending in a 30-21 win over Nevada.
