Ohio at Penn State 9/10/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Ohio Bobcats and Penn State Nittany Lions face off on Saturday in a Week 2 college football showdown at Beaver Stadium.

Penn State opened up the season against the Purdue Boilermakers and they used a big fourth quarter to secure the 35-31 victory. Penn State outscored Purdue 14-7 in the 4th quarter. Sean Clifford had a few questionable decisions but he finished the game strong completing 20 of his 37 passes for 282 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Quarterback Mitchell Tinsley caught seven passes for 84 yards and a touchdown. Brenton Strange also caught two passes for 77 yards and a touchdown. On defense, Purdue struggled allowing 356 yards through the air. In this game, Penn State needs the defense to be a lot better.

On the other side of this matchup is Ohio who opened up their season against Florida Atlantic, and they were able to win 41-38. Ohio almost blew the game late, but they still held on to win by three points. Ohio was led by quarterback Kurtis Rourke and he completed 27 of his 34 passes for 345 yards and four touchdowns. Running back Sieh Bangura had 23 carries for 114 yards. Wide receiver James Bostic had six catches for 136 yards and a touchdown. The defense didn’t look good in the last game, and if they want any chance in this game, they are going to need the defense to be a lot better.
