Ohio at Miami-OH – 11/8/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Ohio Bobcats and Miami of Ohio Redhawks face off on Tuesday in some MACtion at Yager Stadium. The Redhawks have won two of the last three games against the Bobcats. 

Ohio comes into this game with a 6-3 record overall and they have gone 6-3 against the spread. In the last game against Buffalo, Ohio scored 45 points and that led to an easy victory. Kurtis Rourke completed 20 of his 29 passes for 317 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. Jake Neatherton also had a huge game finishing with 13 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown. Ohio State is averaging 33.4 points while their defense is giving up 33.2 points per game. The offense is ranked 35thi while their defense is ranked 115th. In this game, Ohio needs the defense to be good. 

On the other side of this matchup is the Redhawks who sit with a 4-5 record and they have gone 4-5 against the spread. In the last game against Akron, the defense was strong giving up only nine points and that led to the victory. Brett Gabbert had a big game completing 13 of his 23 passes for 184 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. Keyon Mozee rushed 13 times for 62 yards. Miami is averaging 19.4 points while their defense is giving up 21.4 points per game. The defense has been decent, but the offense hasn’t been good enough, and in this game, they need to do a better job of moving the ball.
