Oakland Athletics vs. Milwaukee Brewers Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 6-10-2023

Oakland (14-50) hopes to continue a rare-winning streak when they take on Milwaukee (34-29) on Saturday at 4:10pmET.

The A's took the opener on Friday 5-2 on the road.

Oakland started Sam Moll on Friday as the opener, but it was Luis Medina who carried the load by going five innings, with six strikeouts and two earned runs to get the win for the A's. Medina ended up getting his first MLB win for Oakland, who has now won three straight games.  Esteury Ruiz led the way with two hits and one run scored as well as an RBI. Outfielder Ramon Laureano added two RBIs and two hits including a triple.

This has been a rough season for the A's, who had lost five straight games and have 50 losses this season. Judging just by stats, Oakland may be the worst baseball team of all time. They rank 29th in runs scored per game (3.62), in batting average (.224) and in PS (.664). They rank last in ERA (6.50) and WHIP (1.61). Paul Blackburn is headed to the mound and the veteran has just two starts this season. In his last start, he gave up five runs in five innings in a 7-5 loss to Miami on June 4. He hasn't pitched much this season due to blister issues on his right hand.
