Since the win over the Spartans, the Fighting Irish have dropped five of their last seven and are 0-3 in the ACC. Last Friday Notre Dame lost to the Miami Hurricanes 76-65. Notre Dame led by one at the half but was outscored 43-31 the rest of the way. Miami outshot Notre Dame 29-57 (50.9%) to 25-56 (44.6%) from the floor. Notre Dame did outshoot Miami 9-24 (37.5%) to 5-17 (29.4%) from three. Trey Wertz, a 6'5 senior led the team with 15 points in the loss and is fifth on the squad for the season averaging 10.4 ppg.
The Irish are the sixth-best free-throw shooting team in the country at 79.9%, 37th in three-point percentage, and 100th in overall field goal percentage. Nate Laszewski, a 6'10 senior leads the team with 13.9 ppg and 7.8 rebounds.
