The Wildcats had to rally back from an early deficit and outscored the Blue Demons by 10 points in the second half to pick up their eighth win of the season. Four Wildcats scored in double figures in the game led by a game-high 16 points from Nick Martinelli. Martinelli took home the MVP in the annual Northwestern-DePaul in-state rivalry game. Ryan Langborg added 14 points with 5 assists, Brooks Barnhizer scored 11 points with seven rebounds and Boo Buie had 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists to support the Wildcats' attack. The Wildcats committed just eight turnovers in the game, winning the turnover battle for the ninth time in ten games this season.
