The Norse are 10-7 (5-1) so far this season and are coming off a 78-76 overtime home win on Sunday against the Detroit Mercy Titans. The Panthers are 11-5 (5-1) right now and are riding a three-game winning streak after coming off a 74-70 road win against the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons on Saturday.
The Northern Kentucky Norse played well and were able to pick up a 78-76 overtime home victory against the Detroit Mercy Titans. They shot the ball decently well as they were 27-of-62 (43.5 percent) overall, 6-of-22 (27.3 percent) from the three, and 21 free-throw attempts. Junior guard Marques Warrick led the team as in 39 minutes he finished with 19 points, three rebounds, six assists, two steals, and three turnovers. Defensively, they struggled as they allowed 42.4 percent from the floor and 46.2 from deep here. Northern Kentucky did well as they finished with nine steals and four blocks throughout the game.
