The Northern Illinois Huskies (2-5) take on a fellow MAC foe when they visit the Ohio Bobcats (4-3) on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Peden Stadium.
In their most recent outing, the Huskies won 39-10 over the Eastern Michigan Eagles. The Bobcats are coming off of a 33-14 win over the Western Michigan Broncos. Rocky Lombardi threw for 115 yards, with no touchdowns and no interceptions on 11-of-15 passing (73.3%) for the Huskies in that matchup against the Eagles. Harrison Waylee carried the ball 16 times for 158 yards (9.9 yards per carry) with one touchdown on the ground. He added one reception for six yards. Cole Tucker hauled in five receptions for 58 yards (averaging 11.6 per catch) against the Eagles. Kurtis Rourke threw for 264 yards for the Cats against the Broncos, going 22-for-34 (64.7%) with no touchdowns and one interception. He added six carries for 24 yards and one touchdown. Sieh Bangura carried the ball 25 times for 77 yards and two touchdowns. He caught four passes for 28 yards. Sam Wiglusz had 76 yards through the air after eight catches (on 12 targets).
The Huskies are field goal favorites against the Bobcats. The total is 66 points.
