North Texas vs. UTSA Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 12-2-2022

The UTSA Roadrunners (10-2) will host the North Texas Mean Green (7-5) in the Alamodome for the Conference USA Championship. These teams played at the Alamodome on October 22 with UTSA winning that meeting 31-27. UTSA out gained North Texas 495 to 325 in total yards and 32 to 13 in first downs.

North Texas finished second in Conference USA with a 6-2 record. Besides their October loss at UTSA, the Mean Green's other conference setback came at UAB 41-21 on Nov. 12. Last Saturday, North Texas beat Rice 21-17 to gain momentum heading into the championship game.

The Mean Green are 30th in the nation passing for 267.4 yards, led by quarterback Austin Aune with 31 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The rushing attack is 21st picking up 205.4 yards per game. Their top two rushing leaders Ayo Adeyi and Oscar Adaway III, are both questionable. Ikaika Ragsdale has been solid ranking third on the team with 553 rushing yards on 5.3 yards per attempt.

On defense, the Mean Green are 106th allowing 185.4 rushing yards per game and 266.3 passing yards per game.
