North Dakota State at South Dakota State – 1/8/23 College Football Picks and Prediction

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits and North Dakota State Bison face off on Sunday in the college football FCS National Championship game at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. 

These two teams are bitter rivals and already played earlier this season. On October 15th it was South Dakota State that was able to secure the 23-21 victory. At halftime, NDSU was up 21-7, but SDSU make the comeback in the second half. The Jackrabbits were led by Mark Gronowski, and he completed 16 of his 21 passes for 152 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Running back Isaiah Davis finished with 14 carries for 114 yards and a touchdown. Cam Miller led NDSU completing 17 of his 22 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns. 

NDSU comes into this game with a 12-2 record overall, and although they have been tested in the playoffs, they have made it here. In the last game against Incarnate Word, NDSU scored 35 points, and they were able to win by three points. NDSU played a run first style and they only completed one pass. Cam Miller completed one of his 12 passes for five yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He did rush for 132 yards and a touchdown. Kamal Johnson rushed 15 times for 136 yards and three touchdowns. NDSU on the season is averaging 35.3 points, while their defense is giving up 18.4 points per game.
