North Dakota at North Dakota State – 1/27/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The North Dakota Fighting Hawks will head down to Fargo and face the North Dakota State Bison in Summit League play from the Scheels Center on ESPN+. NDSU leads the head-to-head series, 15-6, after winning six of the last seven meetings.

North Dakota dropped to 7-15 following a road loss to Western Illinois. The Fighting Hawks led at the break, but they were blitzed for 56 second half points by the Leathernecks en route to a 12-point loss. North Dakota is scoring 69.1 ppg, while allowing 71.7 ppg, and shooting 43.3% from the field.

North Dakota has lost eight of their first nine Summit League games, and it looks like this season is already chalked up for them. The offense has been scarce for UND, and they are led by mostly first and second-year players. Freshman forward B.J. Omot leads the team in scoring (11.3) after scoring 20 points against Oral Roberts. Matt Norman has scored 12 or more points in each of the last six games, and he’s second on the team at 9.6 ppg.
