The North Alabama Lions will travel and take on the Memphis Tigers from the FedEx Forum this Wednesday on ESPN+.
North Alabama fell to 4-3 after a loss to Georgia Tech in Atlanta. The Lions fell behind early, and failed to recover en route to their biggest defeat of the season, 80-61. North Alabama is scoring 81.3 points per game, while shooting 49.8% from the floor, and 37.5% from deep.
Daniel Ortiz has been the pulse of the Lions production, but after leaving the GT game early, his status for this one is in the air. Ortiz hit three or more trees in each of the first six games and leads the Lions with 15.4 ppg. Sophomore forward Damian Forrest leads the team in rebounding (6.3), and scoring 9.6 ppg.
