Norfolk State at Houston – 11/29/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Norfolk State Spartans will head back to Texas to take on the Houston Cougars from the Fertitta Center this Tuesday on ESPN+.

Norfolk State is 5-2 after defeating Alabama A&M in Atlanta prior to Thanksgiving. The Spartans were about to complete their first road trip on a high note in a high scoring affair with a six-point win. Norfolk State is scoring 80.9 points per game, while shooting 49.2% from the field, and 38.2% from three.

Fifth-year senior Joe Bryant Jr. still leads the charge for NSU. The hometown product bleeds Norfolk, and he scored a game-high 24 points in their last trip to the Lone Star state against Baylor. Bryant Jr. leads the Spartans in scoring at 14.3 ppg. Fellow veteran Kris Bankston gives NSU a solid inside-outside tandem, and the 6’9 forward leads the team in rebounding (7.7), while scoring 13.2 ppg.
