The Saint Peter's Peacocks (8-11, 3-7) will host the Niagara Purple Eagles (9-9, 4-5) Sunday in a MAAC showdown. Saint Peter's has beaten Niagara in the last four head-to-head meetings.
In the MAAC Preseason Coaches Poll, Niagara was voted as a tie for for eighth in the MAAC in the Preseason Coaches Poll. The Purple Eagles jumped out to a 4-1 start in conference play but are now on a four-game losing streak after losing to Rider 65-62 on Friday. Each loss during the current skid has come by six points or less.
