Florida Panthers -1.5 (-105) over Montreal Canadiens
Starting things off is what should be quite a mismatch, at least on paper. Despite the Panthers record not quite demonstrating it, they still have some of the best talent in the NHL. Meanwhile, the Canadiens are at the bottom of the same Atlanta Division. Florida is coming off a rather devastating loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, where they held the lead into the 3rd period before falling in overtime. However, this is a great bounce-back spot for them.'
The Canadiens may be riding high after their recent upset over the Winnipeg Jets, but consistency has not been their strong suit. The Panthers should also come into this game with plenty of confidence given the result against Montreal earlier this season. These teams met less than 3 weeks ago, and Florida cruised their way to a 7-2 victory. We may not see another 5-goal win tonight, but another multi-goal win should still be in store.'
