Weekend NHL action means early starts, and that's no different for Stanley Cup Playoffs. Yesterday had just one afternoon matchup, but Sunday has 2 even earlier in the day. Not only that, but all 4 series going on today have 2-1 score lines. We've seen some great hockey already, and there's no reason to expect anything different today. The only matchup we're not targeting for our NHL mega parlay is the first one of the day between the Carolina Hurricanes and New York Islanders. Florida Panthers ML (+130) over Boston Bruins
After the Panthers were able to steal Game 2 from the Bruins on the road in Boston, they were unable to win the first game of the series in Florida. However, it was nothing close to a blowout. The Panthers were even favored to win Game 3 by MoneyPuck's advanced analytics and they've looked competitive in each game thus far. That shouldn't be too big of a surprise, as they're one of the teams that haven't been intimidated by the Bruins this season.'
Boston didn't lose many games, but 2 of them came by the hand of Florida. In fact, both of those matchups were in South Beach. The Bruins defense was able to keep Matthew Tkachuk in check on Friday night, but doing so in back-to-back games is a tall task. Not only that, but Boston will still be without captain Patrice Bergeron. He didn't even make the trip to Florida at all. While the Bruins may ultimately still end up winning the series, the Panthers have the scoring talent to even things up on Sunday.
