The Metro Division could see a bit of a shuffle today with the Devils and Rangers facing off this afternoon. It will be the first puck drop of the day and although not in the same state, these teams are close enough where they've become somewhat of rivals. The Devils haven't been quite as relevant in recent seasons for things to get too heated, but this year couldn't be more opposite. Jersey has been the biggest surprise of the season, and although they've lost their top spot in the Metro, they still sit at an impressive 24-12-3.'
The Rangers are just 1 point behind, and we expect the Devils to maintain their position after today's game. New York may be riding high after a few wins, but their most recent was against the Montreal Canadiens, which isn't saying much. The Devils are going to be coming out with a vengeance after their loss on Thursday night, and having lost to the Rangers in overtime last month. However, they defeated New York by multiple goals in their first meeting, and we only need them to win within regulation for this play.'
