NHL Player Prop Picks, Predictions for Monday's Gamesiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Looking to add some prop wins to your hockey bankroll? Scott Cullen shares four of his favorite NHL player props for Monday's games using the latest NHL odds.

I am looking at Leon Draisaitl to stay hot for the Edmonton Oilers, and for Alex DeBrincat to shoot for revenge against the Chicago Blackhawks in his return to the United Center.

I also have a veteran (Jamie Benn) and a young player (Thomas Novak) representing good value to record a point to round out today's selections.

Here are our NHL prop picks for Monday (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, Caesars Sportsbook, BetMGM, and PointsBet).

Monday's NHL player prop picks

  • Leon Draisail anytime goal (+104 via FanDuel)
  • Alex DeBrincat Over 2.5 shots on goal (-140 via Dr aftKings)
  • Jamie Benn Over 0.5 points (-114 via Caesars)
  • Thomas Novak Over 0.5 points (-115 via DraftKings)

While Hart Trophy odds favorite Connor McDavid is commanding the spotlight in Edmonton, leading the NHL in goals and assists, Draisaitl has scored five goals in the past two games and is now tied for fourth with 41. He has scored at least one goal in 17 of 30 road games and faces a Sabres squad that has a 3.82 goals-against average at home, which ranks 30th.

FanDuel is offering a Draisaitl anytime goal at +104 while Caesars is close behind at +103. DraftKings, BetMGM, and PointsBet are all at -110.

Returning to Chicago for the first time since last summer's trade to Ottawa, DeBrincat has not been scoring at the same rate as last season, but his 3.24 shots on goal per game is close to the 3.29 rate he posted for the Blackhawks last season.

Chicago ranks 24th with 31.2 shots against per 60 minutes at home, and the Blackhawks' roster is even worse now after dealing away four regulars before the trade deadline.

DraftKings has the top value among our best sportsbooks, with DeBrincat Over 2.5 shots on goal priced at -140. BetMGM (-143) and FanDuel (-144) are close behind, while PointsBet is charging a hefty premium at -155.

Dallas's captain has recorded a point in five of his past six games and has at least one point in 14 of his last 19 games at American Airlines Center. He has benefited from the trade acquisition of Evgenii Dadonov, who has a goal and two assists in four games in a Dallas jersey and has added playmaking skill to the Stars' second line.

Benn goes against a Calgary Flames team that has a hard time buying a save, with a .891 save percentage on the road, which ranks 26th.

Caesars has the most favorable pricing among our top-rated sportsbooks for a Benn point, at -114. FanDuel is at -118 while DraftKings, BetMGM, and PointsBet are all at -120.

Novak has 23 points in 29 games for the Predators this season, and has recorded at least one point in nine of 15 road contests.

More importantly, Novak is working on Nashville's top power-play unit, which should see success a Vancouver penalty killing unit that has allowed a league-worst 11.12 goals against per 60 minutes.

DraftKings, BetMGM, and PointsBet all have Novak to record a point at -115, with FanDuel close behind at -116. Caesars is in its own world on this market at -155.
