Tonight features several teams on the 2nd night of a back-to-back, and we're going to get our NHL parlay picks started by taking advantage of one of those spots. That would be with the Columbus Blue Jackets, who are already among the worst teams in the NHL. After hosting the defending Stanley Cup-champion Vegas Golden Knights just last night, they're now in Pittsburgh to take on the Penguins.'
The Pens' recent west coast and Canadian road trip certainly didn't go as well as they'd have hoped, but a home game against the Jackets is exactly what they need to get back on track. Columbus allows the 2nd-most goals per game, and Pittsburgh took advantage of that when these teams met earlier this season, winning by multiple goals. They certainly have work to do when it comes to making the postseason, but that also provides them with far more motivation for this game. Whether the playoffs are in their future or not, we're still trusting them to get the job done tonight.
