NHL Parlay Picks & Predictions for Thursday at +938 odds, 1/4

After just 2 games on the ice last night, the NHL is back in full swing with a loaded 13-game slate of action tonight. It's not quite the weekend, so there are no afternoon contests, but we have plenty of incredible matchups. We're not going to waste any time getting things started with our NHL mega parlay either, as we're targeting one of the first puck-drops of the night.

Along with our NHL parlay picks, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for today's action!

NHL Parlay Picks (1/4)

Buffalo Sabres 3-way ML (+115) over Montreal Canadiens

The first leg of our NHL parlay picks for today features an Atlantic Division rivalry, albeit between two teams in the bottom half of the standings. These are 2 franchises that would love to get back into the Stanley Cup playoffs, and they can't get there without racking up wins. Despite being on the road, we're going to be backing Buffalo to grab that much-needed victory. Both teams struggle in the goaltending department, and although the numbers may not jump off the page, we still trust the Sabres offense more than the Habs.'

We were quite surprised to see Montreal snap their 3-game losing skid on Tuesday night, which was also the last game of their 7-game road stretch. Coming back home will certainly be welcomed, but we're expecting a bit of a hangover effect. Youngster Cole Caufield is certainly a stud, but Buffalo has Tage Thompson themselves, but paired with strong veterans around him like Jeff Skinner. It also doesn't help that Montreal has the 5th-worst home record this year either. While it may not be the marquee matchup of the night, we're backing the Sabres to get the job done within regulation.

Dallas Stars 3-way ML (+110) over Colorado Avalanche
