These are 2 Eastern Conference teams simply trying to make it back to the postseason, and the Sens have been much closer of late. They finished with 11 more points than the Flyers last season, and Philly did very little in the offseason for anyone to expect them to perform any better. They won their season opener, but that was against the Columbus Blue Jackets — one of the very few teams that finished worse than the Flyers last year.'
